市长候选人Wilson 表态背书Vallas你支持谁（请投票）

在2月28日芝加哥选举投票之后，芝加哥市长选举9个候选人分出了前两名在4月4日举行二次投票决定市长当选人。在大众的期待中，3月8日出现了里程碑式的进展。
当天上午10点多，在本次市长选举得票近5万多票的市长候选人WIllie Wilson在会议中心宣布，他决定背书（endorse）Paul Vallas为市长候选人。他说，在2月28日投票后，他和自己的团队分别与两个Runoff的市长候选人Johnson Brandon和Paul Vallas见面沟通，了解了他们的选举纲领，同时他还和许多部门领导人交换了意见，最后还在社交媒体上征求了大众的意见，最后决定支持Vallas.

Wislon说，Vallas是目前能够团结芝加哥白人和黑人的最好候选人，他支持警察的政策对解决目前芝加哥最头疼的治安问题也至关重要。他和Vallas有多年的交往，在这次市长选举中有许多共同点政见。他还批评Brandon与教师工会的关系。
于此同时Brandon在当天也得到另外一个重要工会Service Employees International Union Local国际工会组织的支持，该工会成员来自政府部门工作人员，医疗系统工作人员等。
在两个候选人的激烈较量中，Valllas努力争取黑人选票的支持，他已经得到前伊利诺州州务卿Jesse White的支持，与此同时Brandon得到库克郡总裁Toni的支持。
按照2月28日的投票结果，Vallas得到34%的票，加上Wilson6%选票，现在已经有40%选票，再获得10%选票，就能超过50%取得胜利。在2019年市长选举中Wilson 背书了Lori击败了库克郡总裁Toni， 取得市长选举胜利，这次Wilson背书的Vallas能否再次像Lori取得胜利，还难于预测，因为另外一个候选人Brandon得到几个大工会的支持，那些选票不可轻视。
如果现任市长罗拉能够看在2019年Wilson帮助她选举的面子上，也支持Vallas， 那Vallas必胜无疑。而得票多的另外一个候选人Jesús Chuy可能会与工会联盟支持Brandon,因为 Jesús Chuy 过去选举一直靠工会支持才取得胜利。
