Dear Friends and Citizens form Chicago Chinese communities and all other communities, today is Chinese lunar new year day, I wish every one has a wealth and prospect new year in 2025.
Yesterday my workplace did lunar new year celebration and my colleagues greeting me for happy Chinese lunar new year wish, so Chinese lunar new year is everywhere now, in China, in Chicago Chinese communities, Chicago city hall, Aurora city hall etc, mean Chinese new year is a vey powerful influential holiday around the world, it is holiday for people to celebrate new year, to set new wish, to family reunion .
Chinese new year is a tradition for people to begin new wish, at this snake lunar new year I also make a big decision – To be candidate of 2026 mid-term election. After working in US companies over 20 years, I want move my work to a new roles, to be a citizen representative, to start new journey in my life. My decision also come from my past dozen years media work experience, which made me more involved in communities, social, and political.
My decision to join vote also come from my dream for democracy , my love and confidence for American democracy and diversity , it is also my contribution to American democracy and diversity. I hope you support my election and vote for me in 2026.
When new year come, I wish everyone has dream and wish for new yea’s better life, more success , I hope you also make a decision like me to start your new year, whether big or small, enjoy your life.
Once again at this wonderful time of Chinese lunar new year, I wish you have a great and prospect snake year , and a health , wealth new year 2025.
