Chinese school teacher and parents donate PPE to Chicago hospitals and healthcare workers

With COVID-19 continue to spread out in Illinois , Chicago Chinese communities voluntarily launched campaign to donate PPE to Chicago area healthcare workers. Ray Chinese School(RCS), Chinese name 瑞华中文学校, is one of them.

March 27, 2020, the board of  Ray Chinese School  ,  and principle sent PPE donated by RCS community to dward Hospital and DuPage Medical Group (DMG) Immediate Care Center at Naperville, include 8000 medical masks,  medical gloves and other PPE.

RCS also donated PPE to Rush Copley at Aurora, University of Chicago Medical Center, Naperville Fire Department.

Member of RCS said the donations still keep going, there will be more PPE send to healthcare workers, this include money donation to purchase PPE, and donate PPE directly. Next week direct donation for PPE should send directly to hospital by donors. Some hospital indicated they even need home-made mask as well.

Ray Chinese School is one of largest Chinese school in center America, it has over 20 year history, and over 2000 registered students every school term.

According to RCS, up to now 18 members of Ray Chinese School participated in this campaign,
